Rob Furlong

Rob Furlong, CFA, currently serves as an Equity Research Analyst at Brown Advisory since October 2018. Prior to this role, Rob was a Portfolio Manager at Carson Group from September 2014 to October 2018 and the Director of Research at GARP Research & Securities from March 2008 to August 2014, where responsibilities included guiding research coverage through substantial executive interactions. Rob began at GARP Research & Securities as an Equity Analyst from February 2000 to August 2014, focusing on small and mid-cap stocks across various industries. Earlier experience includes a position as a Junior Analyst at Institutional Shareholder Services, where research contributed to corporate governance recommendations for S&P 500 companies. Rob holds a Master of Science in Finance from the Merrick School of Business at the University of Baltimore and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from York College of Pennsylvania.
