Aren Hansen

Aren Hansen has extensive experience in environmental engineering, currently serving as Managing Engineer/Director of Client Services and Bay Area Wastewater Practice Leader at Brown and Caldwell since January 2005. In this role, Aren collaborates with clients to plan, design, and implement improvements for water resource recovery facilities. Prior experience includes working as a Project Scientist at D-Max Engineering, Inc. from 2001 to 2003, where responsibilities involved developing urban runoff management plans for municipal clients in San Diego County. Additionally, an internship at the Port of San Diego focused on assisting with a water quality monitoring program for San Diego Bay. Aren holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Science in Chemistry from UC San Diego, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from UC San Diego.
