Tiffany Tran

Tiffany Tran serves as the Commissioner for the Utilities Rate Advisory at the City of Sacramento Department of Utilities, where responsibilities include reviewing utility service rate proposals, providing recommendations to the city council, and fostering community engagement in the rate setting process. With a strong background in water resource management and engineering, Tiffany has held various roles at Brown and Caldwell, including Associate Business Consultant and Senior Staff Engineer, managing project deliverables and developing technical plans for water agencies. As a Staff Engineer with the California Urban Water Agencies, Tiffany collaborates with member agencies to promote consensus-based solutions in urban water management. Previous experiences include internships and roles focused on water conservation, research, and environmental education, complemented by advanced degrees from UC Santa Barbara and UCLA.
