Douglas (Digger) Donahue is a Partner and former Managing Partner of BBH. Digger joined BBH in 1976 in the Corporate Banking business before becoming involved with the firm's emerging Global Custody business. Digger was named Partner of the firm in 1990. In 1997, Digger assumed overall responsibility for Global Custody, which together with BBH's U.S. Custody business, became known as the firm's Investor Services line of business. That same year he was named the Partner in charge of the Boston office and joined the firm’s Executive Committee. In January 2008, he was named Managing Partner and held this role through the end of 2015. Digger is a graduate of Phillips Academy, a Dartmouth College, and the Harvard Business School.
