Michael McDonald

In his role as Global Head of Relationship Management within Investor Services, Mike McDonald oversees the global teams ensuring BBH continually meet and exceed the expectations of clients. Mike is also responsible for BBH’s Firmwide and Investor Services Marketing and Communications practices.

Prior to this role, Mike led the global Client Service group. Since joining the firm in 1992 he has held roles in Boston, New York, and across Europe, including the Head of Client Service for the Americas and the Head of BBH Dublin. He continues as a Director of Brown Brothers Harriman Trustee Services (Ireland) Limited and is also the Chairman of the BBH Institutional Trust Company of New York.

In 2012, Mike launched BBH’s office in Krakow, Poland. Until his return to the U.S. in 2018, he served as the Head of BBH Krakow where he was responsible for Europe’s largest office combining our operations, client service and technology development functions, as well being responsible for Service Delivery in Europe.

Mike is an advocate of BBH’s Affinity Network Communities (BANC) which provide global forums to develop skills, to network, and to support key business initiatives while enhancing our workplace and communities. He is the global co-chair of the Women’s Network and also the Latino Cultural Network (LCN).

Mike holds a B.S. in finance from Boston College.
