Noriyasu Sonobe

Noriyasu Sonobe is a Partner and the Head of Relationship Management in Tokyo with global responsibility for the relationship management of our Japanese clients. Noriyasu joined BBH in 2007 with responsibility for the fund servicing business segment in Japan. In 2015 he was appointed as Head of Service Delivery in Tokyo, where he managed a team servicing Japanese investors across several sectors including trust banks, asset managers (both local and global), and institutional investors. With deep understanding of financial industry in Japan, Noriyasu is passionate about ensuring BBH delivers our clients exceptional service and has been a strong advocate of assisting globalization of Japanese financial institutions and investors through BBH’s technologies and expertise. Prior to joining BBH, Noriyasu spent six years at Chuo Mitsui Trust and Banking (currently Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank). Noriyasu holds a B.A. degree in law from Keio University in 2000.
