J. Hyatt Brown

J. Hyatt Brown, Chairman at Brown & Brown Insurance, has a long and varied work history that includes internships, team member positions, and even football player.

Brown began their career as a football player at Appalachian State University from 2016 to 2018. J. then did an internship at AGDATA, LP from May 2018 to August 2018 where they were responsible for shadowing AgData employees, assisting with customer success, data operations, and payment operations.

In September 2018, they took a position as a team member at Chipolte Mexican Grill before beginning their current role as an intern at Brown & Brown Insurance in May 2019. As an intern, they have participated in new business meetings and renewals, broker training, and risk management projects.

J. Hyatt Brown received their Bachelor of Science in Risk Management from Walker College of Business at Appalachian State University.
