Kalindhi Fernando

Kalindhi Fernando has extensive work experience in marketing, communications, creative management, and content writing. Kalindhi currently works as the Manager of Marketing & Communications at Brown & Company PLC since 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Manager-Creative at Embark & Who We Are from 2020 to 2022. From 2014 to 2021, they worked as a Senior Creative Executive at Embark, where they were responsible for creative direction, conceptualization, and visual direction for fashion shoots and branding. Earlier in their career, they served as a Senior E-Commerce Executive at ODEL PLC, where they oversaw the web design and content for the company's website. Before that, they worked as a Content Writer at Copyline (Pvt) Ltd, where they wrote creative content for various clients, including annual reports, corporate profiles, and newsletters. Kalindhi began their career as a Communications and Knowledge Development Officer at The Family Planning Association of Sri Lanka, where they focused on research, content development, and website redesigning.

Kalindhi Fernando attended the University of Colombo from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature, with a focus on General studies. Kalindhi later continued their education at the same university from 2005 to 2009, earning a B.A. in English Literature with Honours, achieving a 2nd Upper Class distinction.
