Thamotharampillai Sanakan

Thamotharampillai Sanakan is the Group CEO & CFO at Brown & Company. Thamotharampillai has over 20 years of experience in senior management positions in finance and accounting.

Sanakan started their career at Associated Battery Manufacturers (Ceylon) Limited in 1998 as an Assistant Manager in the Finance Department. Thamotharampillai then moved to LOLC Ceylon Holdings PLC in 2001, where they were promoted to Chief Manager Finance in 2003. In 2009, they joined Lanka ORIX Leasing Company PLC as the Chief Operating Officer.

In 2011, Sanakan joined Browns Pharmaceutical PLC as the Director. Thamotharampillai then joined Brown & Company PLC in 2018 as the Director. In 2020, they were promoted to Group CEO & CFO.
