Tharindu Hettiarachchi

Tharindu Hettiarachchi has a diverse work history with experience in finance, auditing, corporate affairs, and entrepreneurship. They currently work at Brown & Company PLC as a Senior Finance Officer, a role they have held since April 2023. Prior to this position, Tharindu worked as a Finance Officer at the same company from November 2021 to April 2023.

Tharindu also has experience as an Audit Assistant at Colombo Consultants from January 2019 to November 2021, where they gained skills in auditing practices. They simultaneously worked as a Corporate Associate at Ceylon Corporate Affairs during the same period, focusing on corporate affairs and related activities.

In 2019, Tharindu held the role of Senior Business Associate at Sahasra Entrepreneurial Resources Limited, a prestigious holding company in Sri Lanka. Here, they were responsible for managing and accelerating entrepreneurial resources. Additionally, they served as an Investment Analyst at Colombo Investment Platform where they analyzed investment opportunities.

Tharindu's earlier work experience includes a role as a Customer Service Associate at Sri Lanka Telecom from August 2017 to January 2018.

Tharindu Hettiarachchi began their education in 2015 at Bandaranayake Central College, Veyangoda, where they studied Physical Sciences. Tharindu completed their schooling at this institution in 2018. In 2019, Tharindu joined AAT Sri Lanka and pursued an Associate of Accounting Technician degree, which they successfully completed in 2021. As of 2023, Tharindu is enrolled at the Sri Lanka Institute of Taxation (SLIT), where they are studying Tax Law/Taxation.
