Brown Emergency Medicine
Autumn W. is a dedicated researcher currently at NASA, awarded the 2024 NASA Rhode Island Space Grant, focusing on Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation technology for space suits. Additionally, Autumn serves as Research Team Lead at Brown Emergency Medicine, conducting a Scoping Review on first aid educational resources for low- and middle-income countries and has delivered training in Rwanda. As a Mama Glow Fellow, Autumn leads a Mindfulness webinar series aimed at reducing healthcare burnout. Involved extensively with Brown University, Autumn has held multiple roles, including Campus Life Student Advisory Board Member and treasurer of the Pre-Dental Society. Previous experience includes serving as a Medical Assistant at Diamante Skin Care, engaging in ROTC leadership development with the United States Air Force, and participating in various educational initiatives, including Eye-CARE camp at the State University of New York College of Optometry. Autumn is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Contemplative Studies at Brown University while also completing a degree in Air Force ROTC at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Brown Emergency Medicine (Brown EM) is the academic emergency medicine physician practice plan of the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University, and Lifespan’s Rhode Island Hospital, The Miriam Hospital, Hasbro Children's Hospital and Newport Hospital.
