Jorge Camilo Cardona Monroy

Jorge Camilo Cardona Monroy has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jorge Camilo started their career as a Research Assistant at Investigación Independiente, where they were responsible for consolidating and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data for the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights. Later, they interned at Centro de estudios en seguridad y paz, where they conducted situational analysis on citizen security and provided administrative support for academic events.

In 2021, Jorge worked as a Data journalist at Editorial Desde Abajo, where they contributed to data reporting and analysis. Jorge Camilo then joined Virtual Emily as a Data Analyst, focusing on data scraping, cleaning, and reporting to support lead generation and stakeholder decisions.
