Trayton Oakes

Trayton Oakes has a diverse work experience starting in 2010 as a Congressional Intern for U.S. Senator John Cornyn. Trayton then worked as an IT Helpdesk Consultant for the University of North Texas from 2009 to 2011. From 2011 to 2013, Trayton was a Senior Service Assistant at New York Life Insurance Company - NYLIFE Securities, LLC. Following this, they joined the Law Office of E.C. Lewis, P.C. as a Legal Assistant from 2014 to 2015, where they drafted legal documents, performed legal research, and wrote for the firm's blog. Trayton also gained experience as a Honors Program Legal Intern at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission from August to November 2015. In 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Arnow-Richman at the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law. Currently, Trayton Oakes is a Gaming and Corporate Associate at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, starting from September 2016.

Trayton Oakes pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Economics & Political Science from the University of North Texas, from 2008 to 2011. Afterward, they attended the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law, studying in the Commercial Law Program, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from 2013 to 2015.
