Gray Peterson has extensive experience in sales and marketing within the publishing industry, currently serving as VP of Sales and Marketing at Brown Trout Publishing since January 2011, and previously as Director of Sales and Marketing at Brown Trout Publishers from January 2010. Prior roles include EVP at Phoenix Books and VP Sales at Scholastic. Gray holds a degree in Economics from the University of Utah and a BS in Economics from Utah State University.

BrownTrout started with a simple idea—to make a calendar about every noun in the English language. Somewhere along the line we expanded that to include French and Spanish. Luckily, we have come to our senses and create only 1,200 different calendars in categories ranging from designer dog breeds to outhouses to countries of the world and muscle cars of the USA. We delight in the new and fanciful, the odd and wonderful, the obscure and famous. What unites our line is a dedication to the subject matter, giving each calendar its own life and reason for being.
