Velmurugan Balasubramanian

Velmurugan Balasubramanian is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in developer relations. Currently serving as Senior Lead - Developer Relations at BrowserStack since October 2022, Velmurugan focuses on launching global Meetup groups, managing the BrowserStack Champions Community, and overseeing Test University, an e-learning platform for users. Prior to BrowserStack, Velmurugan worked at RingCentral as a Senior Developer Relations Engineer, where responsibilities included supporting developers in utilizing RingCentral's products and managing the developer community. Velmurugan's career also includes contributions to Freshworks as a Senior Developer Relations Engineer, where community building and moderating played significant roles, and a foundational experience at Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst, contributing to localization and digital asset delivery for diverse markets. Velmurugan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Velammal Engineering College at Anna University.
