Andrew Kingdon

Andrew Kingdon is the Head of Informatics Research at the British Geological Survey, where a leadership role involves the development and integration of digital technologies to address geoscience challenges, focusing on subsurface properties and environmental Digital Twins. With a strong background in mathematical modeling and geophysics, projects have included expanding capabilities in Integrated Environmental Modelling and managing the UK's National Petrophysical Data archive. In addition to this technical expertise, Andrew Kingdon serves as a Liberal Democrat Borough Councillor for Bramcote Ward and as a trustee for Bramcote Charities, further engaging in community service. Andrew Kingdon holds an MSc in Exploration Geophysics from the University of Leeds and a BSc in Geology from Royal Holloway, University of London.
