Darryl Nieuwenhuizen

Darryl Nieuwenhuizen has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Darryl is currently the Regional Head at Brsk, starting in January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Vumatel from 2016 to 2022, holding positions such as Regional Director, Head Of Department - Installations, and Planning Manager. From 2011 to 2016, Darryl was the Specialized Services Installation Manager at ClearlineIS, where they managed and led internal and external fibre optic installation teams. Before that, they worked as a Senior Fibre Technician at Dimension Data Middle East and Africa from 2009 to 2011. Darryl also has experience as a Fibre Optic Technician/Supervisor at Active Alarms & Electrical from 2007 to 2009 and as a Corporate Service Consultant at Royal Bank of Scotland Business from 2005 to 2007. Darryl started their career at Capitec Bank as a Branch Manager from 1999 to 2005.

Darryl Nieuwenhuizen attended Grey High School in Port Elizabeth from 1991 to 1999. Before that, they attended St Georges Preparatory School from 1988 to 1990. Darryl did not obtain any degrees or pursue any specific fields of study during their time at these schools. In terms of additional certifications, Darryl obtained a certification in Leadership Transformation from The People Growth Group in August 2021. In November 2015, they received a certification in Emerging Management from Solstice Global Human Capital Solutions. Lastly, in October 2007, Darryl obtained a CFOT, CFOS/D/H & Leadership Development certification from the Fibre Optic Association.
