Gareth Cornelius

Gareth Cornelius has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Gareth currently works at Brsk as the Regional Head for the Manchester Region, where they manage the network build, installations program, and maintenance of the Brsk Full Fibre network in Manchester. Gareth also oversees sales in the region, ensuring alignment between all divisions of the business.

Prior to that, Gareth was the Regional Build Manager at Brsk, responsible for the build of the company's full fibre network in Greater Manchester. Their duties included monitoring planning, surveying, and design, managing contractors and suppliers, and ensuring compliance and quality of the network build.

Before joining Brsk, Gareth worked as a Project Manager at Telent Technology Services Ltd, where they were responsible for client engagement and delivery management across multiple contracts for Openreach's projects.

Gareth also served as the Operations Manager at Bureau Engineering Limited, where they provided turnkey solutions to major telecommunications network providers. Their role involved supplying fibre cabling, terminating and testing crews, and deploying crews across the British Isles and international projects.

Additionally, Gareth worked as a Senior Recruitment Consultant at Bureau UK Recruitment, specializing in energy recruitment within the telecommunications industry. Gareth developed and enhanced long-term relationships with clients and candidates, providing high-quality service utilizing their expert knowledge of the energy markets.

Earlier in their career, Gareth held the position of Regional Operations Manager at Capital Outsourcing Group UK. Gareth managed all contracts in the North of England, acting as an on-site consultant and ensuring delivery against SLAs. Gareth also worked as a senior recruiter for the telecoms division, focusing on the recruitment of fibre-optic telecommunications engineers.

Outside of the telecommunications industry, Gareth founded Humber Lacrosse Coaching Ltd, delivering lacrosse coaching to schools and educational establishments in the Humber region. Gareth also conducted coach education courses for the English Lacrosse Association in the North-East and Yorkshire area.

Gareth Cornelius began their education at Sale Grammar School, where they studied Modern History, Geography, English Language, Psychology, and General Studies. Gareth attended the school from 1997 to 2004, completing their A-Levels. Following this, Gareth enrolled at the University of Hull, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Politics. Gareth studied at the university from 2004 to 2008.
