Giorgio Iovino

Giorgio Iovino has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Giorgio is currently the Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer of Brsk, a company focused on providing better broadband services in underserved towns of the UK. Giorgio is responsible for overseeing the building, operation, and maintenance of the full fibre network, as well as ensuring exceptional customer service.

Prior to Brsk, Giorgio worked at Vumatel, where they held multiple positions. Giorgio started as a Founding Partner and was part of the team that initiated the fiber to the home (FTTH) project in Johannesburg, South Africa. Giorgio then served as a Regional Director, responsible for community business development and marketing. Finally, they became the Chief Operations Officer, managing the overall operations of the company.

Before Vumatel, Giorgio worked at SureSwipe as a Business Development Manager, where they played a crucial role in developing new products such as gift & loyalty cards and a cash advance product for small businesses. Giorgio also served as a Product Development Manager during their time at SureSwipe.

Earlier in their career, Giorgio was a Commercial Manager at Pocit, a corporate technology startup. Here, they contributed to the development of a mobile payment platform, facilitating bill presentment and payment collection for major retailer groups in South Africa.

Giorgio Iovino attended the University of Cape Town from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Science (Honours) degree, with a focus on Economics & Management Studies. In 2012, they briefly studied Italian Language at the University of Perugia.
