Daniel Miller

Daniel Miller has a diverse work experience across various industries. Daniel currently holds the role of Talent Acquisition Associate and Student Development Program Lead at Bruce Power since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Talent Acquisition Associate at the same company from September to December 2021. Before joining Bruce Power, Daniel worked at the North Bay Regional Health Centre (NBRHC) as an Employee Success Advisor in Human Resources from August 2020 to February 2022. In this role, they played a critical role in recruitment and retention initiatives and managed the student recruitment portfolio. Daniel also worked at Nipissing University, first as the Bachelor of Commerce Program Coordinator from December 2019 to August 2020, and then as a Recruitment Officer from August to December 2019. In these roles, Daniel coordinated course offerings, facilitated information sessions, and maintained relationships with professors, facilitators, and students. Additionally, they worked as a Sports Marketing Consultant at the university from September 2018 to August 2019, where they coordinated media campaigns and executed programs to enhance brand awareness. Daniel's earlier experience includes a Management Trainee Intern role at Enterprise Holdings from May 2017 to August 2019.

Daniel Miller earned an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) with Distinction in Marketing from Nipissing University, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications and completed workshops. These include being a SuccessFinder Advanced-Level Certified Professional and a SuccessFinder Certified Professional from SuccessFinder in 2023 and 2022 respectively. Daniel also completed workshops in Workshop Facilitation and Attracting, Hiring, and Working with Gen Z from LinkedIn in 2022. Furthermore, they obtained certifications in Business Development: Strategic Planning, Communication Foundations, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB), and Organization Development Fundamentals Certificate from LinkedIn, Leading Edge Group, and Queen's University respectively. Daniel participated in the Future Workforce Conference organized by Brainstorm Strategy Group Inc. in 2021. Finally, they became a CPI Certified Instructor from the Crisis Prevention Institute in 2020 and joined Ten Thousand Coffees as a member in 2019.
