Francis Lozada

Francis Lozada is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Western University with extensive experience in the nuclear and engineering sectors. Currently serving as an Engineering Trainee (EIT) at Bruce Power since June 2017, Francis has supported work in Mechanical Design and Nuclear Systems Engineering. Previous roles at Bruce Power include a Development Student position focused on reactor refurbishment during the Major Projects initiative, and an Engineering Coop Student role where database creation and analysis for maintenance scheduling were key responsibilities. Earlier experience includes a position as a Heat Transfer Research Assistant at the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, where collaboration with industry partners on experimental techniques and data analysis was pivotal. Additional roles in customer service at Tim Hortons and Bulk Barn Foods Limited contributed to strong interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities.
