Ben McWilliams

Ben McWilliams is an experienced professional in energy and climate policy, currently serving as an Affiliate Fellow at Bruegel since September 2019. Previous roles include Energy and Climate Consultant and Research Analyst, where Ben focused on climate and energy policy. Prior to Bruegel, Ben was the Secretary of the Masters Community Economics at Utrecht University from September 2018 to July 2019, facilitating student events and experiences. Ben also served as Social Secretary for the Economics Society at the University of Warwick, tasked with coordinating events for one of the largest student societies. Ben holds a Master of Science in Economic Policy from Utrecht University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Warwick, complemented by a study abroad experience at Monash University in Business/Managerial Economics.
