Scott M. Meier has a diverse work experience spanning nearly two decades. Scott M. began their career as an Account Executive at McLeodUSA in 2000. From 2001 to 2005, Meier worked at TDS Telecommunications Corp. (TDS Telecom/Metrocom) as a Customer Service Technician and later as a Manager of Product Management. In these roles, they managed product portfolios, led product development initiatives, and implemented branding strategies in the highly competitive telecommunications industry.
In 2012, Meier joined LeanLogistics as a Product Manager, responsible for market development and new market introduction of supply chain software. Scott M. also served as the Marketing Manager, where they directed the marketing strategy and execution of the LeanLogistics brand. Meier played a key role in delivering creative brand strategies for the SAAS solutions provided by the company.
Since 2015, Meier has been employed at Brunswick Bowling as the Director of Software Solutions. In this position, they drive the product software strategy and management for point of sale, automated scoring, mobile apps, and cloud technologies in the B2B/B2C entertainment/retail marketplace. Meier has successfully increased market share of existing products while introducing a new product line, utilizing agile software development, branding strategies, and innovative product introductions. Scott M. also manages the product portfolio across five product lines with global customers on six continents.
Scott M. Meier holds an MBA in Management from the Western Michigan University - Haworth College of Business, which they obtained from 2003 to 2005. Scott M. also has a BA in Telecommunications and Calculus from Michigan State University, where they studied from 1997 to 2000. In addition to their degrees, Meier holds several certifications, including GSEC from the SANS Institute obtained in July 2010, Certified Product Manager from the Association for International Product Management Marketing obtained in 2007, and ITIL Service Management Foundation Certification - Version 3 from EXIN (obtained year unknown).
