Jeroen Benning

Jeroen Benning is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public affairs, communications, and international relations. Currently serving as a Director at Brunswick Group since November 2019, Jeroen leads cross-border client teams on critical regulatory, reputational, and crisis management issues, contributing to the global Geopolitical Advisory team. Prior roles include Head of Public Affairs & Communications at Insurance Europe, where leadership was provided to a team of ten specialists, and Advisor for European & International Affairs at Verbond van Verzekeraars, representing the Dutch insurance sector in various international forums. Jeroen's political experience includes roles such as Deputy Campaign Manager for the VVD party and Political Assistant in the Dutch House of Representatives, alongside participation in major European election campaigns and supportive international engagement through internships at the European Parliament and the Delegation of the European Union to the Russian Federation. Jeroen holds a combined BA/MA in European Studies from Maastricht University.
