Lukas Tichota

Lukas Tichota is a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Brunswick Corporation, involved in the FLITE E-Foil Active Foiling Project, where responsibilities include designing a linkage system and control box for the Active Stabilization Module and developing high-fidelity prototypes. As a member of ASME, participation includes attending meetings focused on mechanical engineering careers and project planning. Tichota previously served as a Project Engineer for Engineers Without Borders USA, contributing to a water treatment plant project, and held a Project Management Intern position at Clune Construction Company. Experience also includes lifeguarding and swim instruction at the University of Illinois Campus Recreation and Skokie Park District, and leadership in Niles North Robotics as Co-Captain. Education is currently being pursued at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
