Jessica Bowles is an experienced leader in urban development and strategic planning, currently serving as the Director of Strategy at Bruntwood since April 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing strategic partnerships and driving the ESG agenda to support business growth through innovation districts and town regeneration. Prior to this role, Jessica held significant positions at Manchester City Council from September 2009 to March 2016, including Head of City Policy, where contributions involved managing economic, environmental, and transport strategies, as well as developing the comprehensive Manchester Strategy. Additionally, Jessica served as a Senior Civil Servant in the Regeneration Directorate at the Department for Transport from January 2006 to September 2009 and worked in various capacities at the DETR/DfT from July 1995 to January 2006, after earning a degree from the University of Bristol between 1990 and 1994.
