Christian Vandevoort

Christian Vandevoort has extensive experience in fire and emergency services, currently serving as Deputy Manager Fire & Emergency Services at Brussels Airport Company since 1993. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations of fire crews, providing training, and motivating team members, as well as managing exercises, interventions, and team building for a team of 23 firefighters, alongside creating reports and fire prevention strategies. Previously, Christian worked as an Adjudant at Brandweer Sint-Truiden from 1988 until retirement in 2022, and held mechanical engineering positions at Philips and HMZ St-Truiden early in the career. Education includes advanced fire training and technical studies, with a focus on leadership roles in fire services.
