Gitte Truijen

Gitte Truijen is an experienced professional in market development and communications, currently serving as Market Development Manager at Brussels Airport Company since August 2018, having also held roles as Market Development Specialist and Internal & External Communication Officer. Prior to this, Gitte completed an internship in Internal & External Communication at the same company earlier in 2018. Gitte's earlier experiences include positions at Logopedie Centrum Groningen as part of a speech therapy internship in 2016, and a similar role at Sint-Vincentius ziekenhuis Antwerpen in December 2014. Gitte holds a Master's degree in Communication Sciences focused on new media and society from Ghent University (2016-2018) and a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Therapy from Thomas More University of Applied Sciences (2013-2016), complemented by education at Sint-Gabriëlcollege from 2007 to 2013.
