Niel Dejonghe

Niel Dejonghe is a Platform Engineer at Brussels Airport Company since September 2023, focused on building new platforms using EKS, Github Actions, and ArgoCD, while addressing technical debt and documenting infrastructure. Prior experience includes roles as a System Engineer at Trimble Inc. from September 2021 to September 2023, where Niel adopted a DevOps mindset and utilized various tools such as AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes. Niel also held system engineering positions at Scarlet, RENSON Ventilation, and SEYNTEX, managing IT infrastructure, providing support, and implementing automation solutions. Niel began a professional journey with an internship at Proximus, developing automation for firewall configurations. Niel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science with specializations in Application Development, Networks, and Cybersecurity from Vives.
