Lars Schwander

Lars Schwander has extensive experience in the field of photography, currently serving as a Subject Matter Expert at Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers A/S since 2013 and as a Self-employed Subject Specialist in Photography since 2011. In addition, Lars has held the position of Director at the Institute of Photography, where responsibilities include curating exhibitions and editing photographic books. Notably, Lars founded and directed the Photographic Center from 1996 to 2011, organizing exhibitions and publishing books. Lars has also contributed as an Artistic Adviser for the Hasselblad Foundation and participated as a jury member for the Prix BMW. Education includes a Master’s degree in Nordic Philology and Film Science from the University of Copenhagen.
