Sung Oh

CEO & Co-Founder at Bruvi

Sung Oh is the CEO and Co-Founder of Bruvi, a company that specializes in single-serve brewing systems. Prior to their work at Bruvi, Sung Oh was a patent attorney at Squire Sanders and Dempsey, LLP from May 2002 to May 2005. In this role, they assisted Fortune 500 clients with monetizing their IP through license programs and prosecuting patent applications. From September 1998 to May 2002, Sung Oh worked as a patent attorney at Oppenheimer Wolff and Donnelly, LLP where they assisted with patent prosecution and litigation, and managed clients’ IP portfolios.

Before their work in the legal field, Sung Oh was the Chief Innovation Officer at Touch Coffee and Beverages from June 2013 to August 2018. In this role, they invented and patented a new single-serve brewing system to compete against market leaders. Sung extensively traveled to China to work with partners there and launch the brewer in the U.S. Prior to Touch Coffee and Beverages, Sung Oh worked as a Sales Specialist at GE from May 1989 to September 1998.

Sung Oh completed their Doctor of Law at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles and their Bachelor of Science in Engineering at Arizona State University.
