Barbara Dewulf

Barbara Dewulf currently serves as the Director General ad interim at Brussels Environment since January 2014, where responsibilities include overseeing divisions focused on information, coordination, circular economy, and sustainable city initiatives. Previous roles include Director of International and General Coordination at Leefmilieu Brussel and Head of the International and Legal Department at Brussel Leefmilieu. Barbara Dewulf has extensive experience in coordinating environmental legislation and international partnerships within the Brussels Region, alongside participating in Belgian committees related to EU environmental initiatives. Educational background includes a Master's degree in Handelsingenieur from KU Leuven and studies at Université libre de Bruxelles.
