Laura Walkiers

Laura Walkiers currently holds the position of Gestionnaire de projet en transformation digitale at Brussels Environment, a role commenced in January 2024. Previously, Walkiers served as a Senior Strategy Consultant at Monitor Deloitte from June 2023 to January 2024, and prior to that, worked at Deloitte as a Consultant and Business Analyst in the Public Sector Policy, Strategy & Operations division from October 2019 to June 2023. Walkiers gained experience as an intern at the Permanent Representation of Belgium to the OSCE in 2019 and as a Job Student at Le boson from September 2017 to September 2018. In academic qualifications, Walkiers earned an Advanced Master of Science in European Politics and Policies from KU Leuven in 2018, a Master's degree in History, and an Agrégation de l'Enseignement Supérieur from Université libre de Bruxelles between 2015 and 2017, in addition to a Bachelor's degree in History from the same institution from 2012 to 2015. Early education was completed at Collège Saint Michel, obtaining a CESS in Languages and Latin Literature. Additionally, Walkiers served as Vice President of the Association des Cercles Etudiants from May 2016 to May 2017.
