Dr. Desiree Caperton

Dr. Desiree Caperton currently serves as the Principal at Long Intermediate School within Bryan ISD since July 2022 and has been the Principal at Fannin Elementary School since July 2019. Prior experience includes serving as Associate Principal at Bryan Collegiate High School from 2017 to July 2019 and working at Bryan ISD from 2003 to 2017 as a Compliance Coordinator for Bilingual/ESL/Migrant Education and as an Academic Advisor. Dr. Caperton began their career at Humble ISD - Kingwood Middle School as a Teacher/Coach from 1998 to 2003. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management from the University of Arkansas, a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Sam Houston State University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Education Leadership from Prairie View A&M University.
