Stakeholder Engagement Policy Analyst at Bryce Space and Technology

Jessica Marks, Ph.D. has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2000 when they were a Graduate Research Assistant, Research Assistant, and Laboratory Technician at Tulane University. In 2013, they moved to the University of California, Berkeley as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Molecular and Cell Biology. In 2017, Jessica began working at the United States Department of Defense as an AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow, providing essential oversight for the CTR (Cooperative Threat Reduction) program and making strategic recommendations concerning the approval and funding of proposals within the biological, chemical, and nuclear programs. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Senior Science Program Manager at Global Systems Engineering, leading strategic planning and program management in support of DoD DTRA Biological Threat Reduction Program science team in Southeast Asia. Jessica conducted extensive research and analysis to coordinate the successful execution of health security workshops, as well as developed and executed seamless logistics, budgeting, and management-financial reporting for the project lifecycle. Jessica's current role is as a Stakeholder Engagement Policy Analyst at BryceTech, a position they have held since 2023.

Jessica Marks, Ph.D. obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Sciences from Tulane University and their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology from The University of Texas at Austin.
