Mark Lucas has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and software development. Mark started their career as a Program Manager at Ingenium Corporation, leading a team and performing custom software development for government agencies. Mark then worked as a Senior Systems Engineer and Program Manager at Integic, where they coordinated work across multiple projects and integrated commercial off-the-shelf software. Mark also worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at BAE Systems, focusing on software development using .NET and SharePoint.

In 2005, Mark joined Microsoft Consulting Services as a .NET Developer Consultant, providing onsite software development consulting. Mark then started their own company called JamesTech, LLC, specializing in training for Microsoft Office and SharePoint products. As the owner and Information Architect of JamesTech, Mark also provided consulting services in the SharePoint technology area.

Mark later worked as the Vice President of SharePoint Solutions and Training at Haystax Technology, where they were responsible for gathering client requirements, designing solutions, and implementing them. Mark also had business development responsibilities and developed customized SharePoint training curriculum for clients.

Mark also holds several additional certifications, including the Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals, Collab365 Solutions Challenger, and various Microsoft certifications related to SharePoint and software development. Mark has been a Microsoft Certified Trainer since 2000.
