Alexander Mears

Alexander Mears has a diverse work experience starting with their roles at the U.S. Department of State and the US Navy as a Foreign Service Officer and Lieutenant, respectively. Alexander then transitioned into private equity, working at Bain Capital as a Senior Associate and later as a Vice President in North American Private Equity. Mears also held positions at The Carlyle Group as a Vice President and Principal in US Buyout. Alexander co-founded Search & Acquire in 2020 and is currently a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at The Brydon Group. In addition to these roles, they have served as a Board Member at Paradigm Precision and CNSI and as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. Alexander is also an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.

Alexander Mears graduated from Harvard University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics. After completing their undergraduate studies, they went on to attend the University of Oxford in 2003-2004, where they earned a Master of Science (M.SC.) degree in Economic and Social History. In addition to their academic qualifications, Alexander also holds a certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute.
