Anthony F. Morelli Jr.

Anthony (Tony) F. Morelli Jr., MSS, LCSW, FT is a seasoned therapist and educator with extensive experience in grief counseling and social work. Currently serving as a therapist at AFM Counseling & Consulting, LLC since June 2018, Morelli specializes in individual and family counseling, focusing on grief, depression, anxiety, and relationship challenges using a diverse range of therapeutic approaches. As the Assistant Director of Field Education at Bryn Mawr College since June 2021, Morelli facilitates graduate social work student placements. Additional roles include teaching a graduate-level course on "Bereavement Counseling" at Chestnut Hill College and previously serving as a grief counselor at Penn Medicine, a grief counselor for survivors of homicide loss, and director of grief support services at Peter's Place, demonstrating a commitment to supporting bereaved individuals and families. Morelli holds a Master of Social Service from Bryn Mawr College and a Bachelor of Arts from Dickinson College, complemented by ongoing training at the Pennsylvania Gestalt Center.
