Markellos Diorinos

Markellos Diorinos is the CEO and Co-founder of Bryq, a leading anti-fraud solution for web recruitment and VAS services. Prior to Bryq, Markellos served as the SVP for Commercial & Operations at Upstream from July 2008 to March 2019. In this role, Markellos was responsible for the commercial success and operational efficiency of the company.

Before joining Upstream, Markellos was with Microsoft from August 2001 to October 2007, where they served as the Sr. Product Manager for Internet Explorer Security. In this role, Markellos focused on the introduction of new security features for Internet Explorer 7 and Extended Validation EV SSL Certificates.

From October 2007 to February 2008, Markellos served as the Group Product Manager at Hellas Online, where they were responsible for the design and introduction of IPTV solution and triple-play (Phone, Internet, TV) packages.

Prior to Hellas Online, Markellos was with Alter Channel from October 2000 to August 2001 where they served as the IT Manager. In this role, Markellos managed the broadcast graphics department, including setup and operation of VizRT-based virtual studio system.

Markellos Diorinos has a Masters in Computer Science from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and an MBA from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business.
