Marc van Ling has a diverse work experience spanning from 1998 to 2018. Marc started their career as a Business English Trainer at Linguarama in 1998. In 2000, they moved on to become a Business Teacher at Kent Institute Australia. From 2001 to 2002, they worked as a self-employed Business Trainer. Subsequently, they served as a Lecturer at Warsaw University of Trade and Commerce from 2001 to 2002. In 2002, they joined Loughborough University as an EFL Lecturer until 2003. Following that, they worked as a Media and Marketing Lecturer and Course Leader at Nottingham College from 2003 to 2006. In 2004, they briefly served as an Examiner at AQA. Marc's next role was as a Business Mentor at the University of Nottingham from 2010 to 2011. In 2017, they became a Mentor at Launchpad in Google, mentoring start-up tech firms at launchpad events in Serbia and Poland. Most recently, they have been working as a Director and Executive Search Consultant at Europe Solutions since 2006.
Marc van Ling has a diverse education history. In 1993, they enrolled at the University of Lincoln and completed a BA Hons degree in Film and Media in 1996. Following this, in 1997, they attended Hull College where they obtained a Trinity College London CertTESOL in Teaching English as a Second Language in 1998.
In 2009, Marc participated in a Masterclass on Entrepreneurship at the University of Nottingham. Later, in 2012, they pursued further education in Coaching and Mentoring at Oxford Brookes University, earning a Practitioner Certificate - CIPD/Oxford Brookes University.
The same year, they also attended Adler International Learning to study Coaching - Leader as Coach.
