Meredith Nelson has a rich work experience in the health industry, holding numerous CFO positions. Meredith started their career in 1997 as an Associate Financial Analyst at HCA, before moving to HCA Physician Services, where they worked in various financial roles. In 2005, they joined LifePoint Health and served as the CFO for multiple medical centers. From 2013 to 2016, they worked at Capella Healthcare as a CFO and a member of the Board of Directors. In 2018, they became the Chief Financial Officer at McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center, Quorum Health. Currently, they are the Chief Financial Officer at BSA Health System.
Meredith Nelson obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Art History from Tulane University, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business from Belmont University's Jack C. Massey College of Business between 1999 and 2001. In July 2012, they also obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Tennessee Board of Accountancy, although this certification is currently inactive.
