Joel Brand

Joel Brand has extensive experience in the insurance industry, with their most recent role being Senior Vice President at Boyd, Shackelford, Barnett & Dixon, LLC (BSBD Group) since June 2021. Prior to that, they served as President Elect at Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) starting in January 2022. Joel also has experience as Vice President at G2 Insurance Services from November 2017 to June 2021. Joel held the position of Executive Director-Western Region Real Estate Practice Group Leader at Crystal & Company from May 2015 to November 2017. Before that, they worked as a Principal at Edgewood Partners Insurance Center (EPIC) from January 2009 to May 2015, and as a Senior Vice President at Hilb Rogal & Hobbs from April 1998 to January 2009.

Joel Brand pursued their undergraduate education at San Jose State University from 1986 to 1991. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a major in Economics. In 1992, they briefly attended St. John's University and obtained a degree in Insurance.
