Rajkumar Varanasi

Rajkumar Varanasi has extensive experience in finance and accounting. Rajkumar currently holds the position of Head of Finance at BSBG - Brewer Smith Brewer Group since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Financial Controller for the same company since January 2019.

Before joining BSBG, Rajkumar served as the Finance Director at CSPT Automotive Solutions FZE from May 2015 to December 2018. Rajkumar also gained experience as a Finance and Audit Executive at National Investment Corporation and Abu Dhabi Marina Mall from June 2010 to April 2015.

Prior to that, Rajkumar worked as the Group Financial Controller at Omniyat Properties and Almasa Holdings from July 2005 to June 2010. Rajkumar started their career at PKF International as an Assistant Manager in the Audit Practice from October 1998 to June 2005.

Rajkumar's earlier experience includes working as a Qualified Auditor in the Audit Practice at PwC from August 1996 to September 1998 and as a Finance Manager at VICTORY PROJECTS LIMITED from January 1995 to July 1996.

Rajkumar Varanasi obtained their Bachelor of Commerce degree from Indian Jobs Fastest Updates from 1988 to 1991. Rajkumar then pursued further education at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where they acquired a Chartered Accountant degree, specializing in accounts, corporate law, and direct & indirect taxes, from 1992 to 1996. In 2004, they attended The Institute of Internal Auditors and attained a Certified Internal Auditor degree in the field of internal audit standards & framework. In 2007, they obtained a CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) degree from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, focusing on fraud investigation & fraud reporting. Rajkumar Varanasi also pursued a certification in Certified Internal Controls Auditor (CICA) from The Institute for Internal Controls (IIC), USA, specializing in internal controls, from 2013 to 2014. Finally, they obtained two additional certifications in recent years: a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) degree from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a Certified Accountant degree from ACCA, both in the field of accounting and finance, which they completed from 2016 to 2018.
