Mthobisi Kunene

Mthobisi Kunene is a seasoned software developer currently serving as Software Developer 2 at BSG since January 2023, with experience in full stack development, particularly using Spring Boot in microservice architecture and Angular for front-end applications. Prior to this role, Mthobisi worked at Umkhumbane Schools Project from July 2020 to December 2022 as a Mathematics Tutor, significantly improving the academic performance of between 150 and 200 students annually in Grades 10, 11, and 12. Mthobisi also held the position of Director and Principal Software Developer at Afrivators from 2019 to December 2022, focusing on creating functional and visually appealing WordPress websites, providing client support, and implementing technical solutions such as payment gateways and SEO. Mthobisi holds a BSc in Computer Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, completed in 2022, and a Matric from Wiggins Secondary School, obtained in 2017.
