Additionally, Sonja served as Creative Director at BMW Group Designworks from 2001 to 2008, overseeing international project management and team leadership. Earlier in their career, Sonja was Vice President of Design at frog, where leadership in business strategy and design efforts was provided for the New York studio. Sonja's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Industrial Design from Hochschule für Gestaltung Schwäbisch Gmünd, attained between 1985 and 1989.
