Joe Fehir

Joe Fehir has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of quality assurance and management. Joe has held various roles in different companies, starting as a Quality Auditor at ABB in 1995. Joe then worked as a Senior Supplier Quality at Alcoa from 2003 to 2006. After that, they served as a Quality Assurance Manager at Apollo Plating from 2006 to 2009, at Adept Plastic Finishing from 2009 to 2014, and at Acument Global Technologies from 2014 to 2015.

From 2015 to 2017, Joe Fehir held the position of Quality Assurance Manager at Dura Automotive Systems LLC, where they successfully led the Milan plant to become the best in the Global Automotive System Division and regained the forfeited TS-16949 certificate within 3 months.

Following that, they worked as a Senior Quality Assurance Manager at Sonima Group from 2017 to 2018, focusing on driving sustainable excellence in quality and implementing lean principles to improve overall process capability.

Joe Fehir then joined Novares Group as a Quality HSE Manager from February 2019 to June 2019, where they were responsible for quality, environmental protection, and the safety of two plants.

Afterward, they served as a Quality Systems Manager at SRG Global from October 2019 to June 2023, maintaining compliance with the IATF 16949 standard and integrating customer-specific requirements into the internal auditing process.

Currently, Joe Fehir works at BSI as a Client Manager/Lead Auditor, starting from June 2023.

Joe Fehir holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Quality Assurance from Kennedy Western University. Joe has also obtained additional certifications including Exemplar Global Lead Auditor and Supplier Auditor for IATF 16949 and ISO 9001, TS16949 Lead Auditor from PLEXUS Corporation, Certified Welding Inspector from the American Welding Society, and ASQ CMQ / oe from ASQ - World Headquarters.
