Joost van der Meulen

Joost van der Meulen has extensive experience in quality assurance and regulatory roles within the medical device and engineering sectors. Currently, Joost serves as GQA Technical Manager and ISO13485 RvA scheme manager at BSI since September 2022, following a series of positions at BSI including GQA Certification Lead and Technical and Regulatory Reviewer. Prior to BSI, Joost worked at Stryker as Associate Manager Global Supplier Quality Auditor and as Staff Global Auditor in Supplier Quality, as well as holding a Sr Quality Project Engineer role at Fresenius Kabi. Joost's career began with positions at Cordis, Philips Domestic Appliance, and PhilipsNijmegen, focusing on quality engineering, product development, and integrated circuit processes. Joost holds degrees in Quality Engineering & Quality Management from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and Chemical Engineering from NHL Hogeschool.
