Karen Giovanetti

Karen Giovanetti serves as a Global Quality & Accreditation Technical & Regulatory Reviewer at BSI since April 2019, bringing extensive experience in quality management and technical support within the medical devices field. Previously, Karen held the position of Sr Client Manager / Lead Auditor-Medical Devices at Sharp, part of UDG Healthcare plc, and acted as the COE Quality Lead at Sharp. Karen's career includes roles at Alere Inc. as an Immunology Technical Consultant, where technical support for various ELISA products was provided, and at OraSure Technologies as a Product Support Scientist and Quality Control Specialist. Initial experiences include serving as a Medical Technologist at Muhlenberg Community Hospital and as an Evening/Night Shift Supervisor at Warren Hospital. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from the Medical University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Sciences from Cedar Crest College.
