Mike Thompson

Mike Thompson has extensive experience in the certification and testing of personal protective equipment, currently serving as the Certification Team Manager for Life Protection at BSI since March 2002. Prior roles at BSI include Certification Team Manager, Testing Team Manager for PPE, and Senior Technical Engineer, alongside a background as a Senior Engineer in the Eyewear and Respiratory Laboratory. Previously, Mike worked at 3M UK Plc from 1998 to 2002 as a Scheme Manager and Engineer II, and began his career at Martindale as a Test Technician. Mike holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from De Montfort University, obtained between 1990 and 1994.
