Tim McGarr

Tim McGarr currently serves as AI Market Development Lead at BSI, a position held since November 2009, and has held various roles including Sector Lead for Digital, and Market Development Manager for Digital, focusing on standards development in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Augmented Reality, and the Internet of Things. Prior to BSI, Tim worked at LexisNexis as Sector Manager for Risk Management and Business Continuity, and as Strategy Associate, where responsibilities included business development and due diligence on acquisitions. Earlier experience includes management consulting at Logica and internal consulting at BT. Tim holds an MBA from HEC Paris and a BSc (Hons) in Management from The University of Manchester.
